Victor Rodriguez is an euphonium player and music conservatory professor in France, from Ibagué, Colombia.

Whenever I am asked why I chose the euphonium, I give the same answer every time: "I did not choose it, it chose me." And the reason is that not knowing it at the beginning, it was natural that I did not feel attracted to it. Until then, playing in groups as a soloist and in concerts bands, that made me fall in love with its sound and everything that it could be done with it.

And here I am after 23 years. Without a single drop of regret for having decided to immerse myself in this adventure of sound… and what a sound! With mentions obtained at the Conservatory of Ibagué-Colombia and The University of Southern Mississippi-EEUU as an outstanding euphonium player, I continue on this magnificent journey with this companion of struggles and battles, which as it has brought me headaches and tears, it has also given me joy and gratification.
